SHIPMENT PROCESSING:
- Shipment of orders being paid by credit card will be processed upon approval of the credit card charge.
- Shipment of orders being paid by check will be held for 30 days in order to verify that the check has cleared bank processing.
- Shipment of orders being placed using a US Government purchase order will be processed upon receipt of the signed purchase order.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
All regular shipments are by UPS Ground. Physical addresses must be provided to insure our ability to track and insure shipments. Orders being shipped to Post Office boxes will be shipped USPS Priority Mail and will not be tracked or insured. Dewey Publications is not responsible for replacement of lost shipments not shipped through UPS. Expedited shipping will be based on the weight of the package, and must be arranged by contacting us at 703-524-1355.
Ways to OrderWe accept orders through our website, mail and fax. We don't accept orders through email. Please do not send us multiple copies of the same order, like both mailing and faxing an order to us. This will help avoid duplication.
Discounts
Discounts are quantity base, only available to the Government, and must be placed by phone. These discounts do NOT apply to a combination of products or orders placed online. To receive the discount please call and request it (703.524.1355).
- 10-19 of the same product: 10% discount
- 20-49 of the same product: 20% discount
- 50-99 of the same product: 25% discount
- 100+ of the same product: 35% discount
Sales Tax
- Virginia residents who are not tax-exempt will have 5% VA sales tax
added to their order. This table defines whether you pay VA State Tax.

Return Policy
If you are not satisfied with the product that you have purchased from us, you can return it within the timeframes listed below and receive a refund of the cost of the item minus a 6% restocking fee. All items must be returned in original condition, with no bends, folds, marks or stamps. Damaged items will not be accepted for refund. No returns will be accepted on bulk purchases.
- Books must be returned within 30 days of purchase.
- CD-ROMs must be returned within two weeks of purchase.
- You must notify Dewey by phone of the return. (703.524.1355)
Restocking fee: Restocking fee of 6% on all returns.

Damaged Shipments
If you receive your shipment and items are damaged. You must call us within five days of receipt and you must save all items including packaging materials. DO NOT RETURN THE ITEMS TO DEWEY. We will make arrangements for the damage claim to be processed by UPS. The damaged items will be replaced or you will be refunded the cost of the items only if these instructions are followed.
For shipping arrangements made by the purchaser, such as shipping using the purchaser's account, the purchaser is responsible for making the damage claim through their shipper. DO NOT RETURN THE ITEMS TO DEWEY.
